Hello All,
Looking for guidance.
I have given my theory exam in Antwerp in June 2019.
I have appeared for Practical exam thrice in Leuven. Unfortunately did not pass.
My Provisional license is now expired, I have completed 6 hrs of training.
Hence I have one more attempt left (4th one).
Honestly, I have kind of given up on Leuven now as next possible appointment is in July.
I have read somewhere if theory Exam was given outside of Brussels then candidate is not eligible for practical exam in Brussels.
1) I would like to hear from the group which other exam centers are recommended which are easier than Leuven and Brussels?
2) If I go through other driving schools they are asking me to take 6 hrs class with them as you must know is way too expensive. (especially when I have already completed 6 hrs so really looks like wastage of money( At least the ones I have talked to, are not ok with just me booking exam through them. Do you know any driving schools which would only let me book exam through them?
3) If I try to book on my own, guide or supervisor is needed. I do not have one. (Nobody in my family drives). Is there a way out of this situation?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks in advance.

Did you take those 6 hours after your driving licence expired ?AwesomeGal schreef: ↑30 mar 2022, 21:21 My Provisional license is now expired, I have completed 6 hrs of training.
Or -as I'd expect- after the 2nd exam , to be allowed to do the 3rd exam ?
Check their website & call them occasionally, spots open up sometimesHonestly, I have kind of given up on Leuven now as next possible appointment is in July.
Mixing exams in different regions is a messI have read somewhere if theory Exam was given outside of Brussels then candidate is not eligible for practical exam in Brussels.
In BXL you'd also need to have done a first aid training ...
Easier isn't the right word1) I would like to hear from the group which other exam centers are recommended which are easier than Leuven and Brussels?
Not as hectic maybe ...
Where do you live ?
Being familiar with the area sure does help.
Here's a list of examination centers:

Those 6 hours are a legal requirement when your provisional licence expires2) If I go through other driving schools they are asking me to take 6 hrs class with them as you must know is way too expensive.
And need to be done after the expiration , to
- be allowed to do the exam with a driving school despite the expired licence
or
- get a new provisional licence M12 : with a guide / valid for 1 year
You can't do the exam with a guide, as your licence has expired3) If I try to book on my own, guide or supervisor is needed.
You'd need to obtain a new provisional licence M12 to be allowed to do the exam with a guide
But for that licence, you'd need 6 hours tuition ...
There doesn't seem top be one ... catch 22I do not have one. (Nobody in my family drives). Is there a way out of this situation?

Re: Driving Practical Exam center - which one to select?
Thank you very much for your responses. Here are answer to your questions
If I could get a reference to practical test centers which are not so busy and training centers which can help me book through them, it would be great.
Thank you for all the help uptil now. Much appreciated.
{AwesomeGal] After 2nd exam my license also expired. so 6 hrs was completed after license expiration + 2nd exam.Did you take those 6 hours after your driving licence expired ?

[AwesomeGal] I agree. Yes less Hectic maybe. I would love to get the driving license as soon as possible.Easier isn't the right word

[AwesomeGal] Yes, I have completed legal requirement. These six hrs are being requested in addition to what I have already done. Just so that I can book exam through their training center. Basically I am now looking for other destinations and training centers through which I can maybe get an appointment. Those 6 hours are a legal requirement when your provisional licence expires

So legally, you have done the required hours to do 3rd and/or 4th examsAwesomeGal schreef: ↑07 apr 2022, 22:11 After 2nd exam my license also expired. so 6 hrs was completed after license expiration + 2nd exam.
Make sure you have the appropriate paper from the driving school where you took those lessons
The legal requirement, if you switch driving school, is 2 hoursThese six hrs are being requested in addition to what I have already done.
The driving schools reserve those exam slots
And they obviously want to monetize these reservations
The test centers are all quite busyBasically I am now looking for other destinations and training centers through which I can maybe get an appointment.

They were already rather busy before covid, and they don't have the capacity to cope with a lot more candidates than they were used to.
Check out their websites for open spots
Even though the process is made ridiculously cumbersome ...
