speed differences depend on regioi

Bericht door Lusine »

HI! In residential area the max speed is different for Flanders (70km/h) Wallonia(90km/h) and Brussels (90km/h). According to the test questions in website, correct answer is 70km/h, but what if Im going to pass the exam in Brussels, what should I answer? (it was asked to mention number 104).

Thanks.

Those are the speed limits OUTSIDE residential areas :!:

Inside residential / built up areas, the limit is 50 everywhere (unless traffic signs say otherwise)

The speed limit that you indicated is for built up area ONLY. In residential area speed limit is 20km/h.

During the real exam, they will mention where the street is located.

Obviously Lusine doesn't refer to the regulation regarding woonerf / zones résidentielles & zones de rencontre in the question,
as the speed limit there is always 20 km/h regardless of the region

"Translating" legal terms in a language in which they're not defined is always difficult.
The Belgian highway code doesn't exist in english
