When you see, for exapmle, this sign which indicates your direction, you may choose your lane to get in the right lane(s) to reach your direction.

See the signs Chapter 15 nr 2 (information signs).

Why the car taking direction of Hassalt can’t drive on the left lane. As mentioned in chapter 18, page 113, you are allowed to drive on left lane when you are following instructions on board for a certain direction.
